Here, Mr. Anupam very sarcastically says that he is just eight year younger than the country India (he means to say that India got independence in 1947 and he was born in 1955 so India is like his elder brother); and he has never drown his attention towards this internal and biggest national threat.  While going to the deeper roots of this narrative, Mr. Anupam revels that his family used to be very poor like his father used to earn just 90 rs a day and 14 people were there to survive on those 90 rs. So astonished Anupam used to ask his grandfather that how come we are happy despite of being poor. His grandfather used to say when you are very poor then the cheapest luxury is the happiness.

This shows nothing but the entirely different mindset of a person. Mr. Anupam used to be a simple and normal family background where even his failures were celebrated; he encountered life’s entire different face during his tenure in national school of drama where students protested against their professor for being disciplined and organized. Being a sincere follower of drama & acting he thought 365 days are also less for learning and there are majority people who protested their head teacher just because he is compelling them to be self disciplined. That time he realized about lighter face of Naxalism.
