Indian Vedas, Quran, Bible portray the significance of Cleanliness.

Ancient Temple Towns of India, depict the importance of Cleanliness, with proper; water supply, sanitary system, waste disposal, storm water drains and Penalties for violation. Mughal Rule brought the untouchable’s system by practicing Dry toilets. They forced their Prisoners to clean these Dry Toilets. These prisoners were treated like Untouchables by the society, after freedom. India follows the slogan “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” Each House should be Clean like a Temple. India have triumphed Clean Revolution to complete Mahatma Gandhi’s Dream of a ‘Swachh Bharat. Indian Government have taken incredible measures to frame a Clean Indian society. Under ‘Swachh Survekshan’ the Cleanliness Squad, from ‘Quality Council of India’ pays surprise visit to different cities, assess its Cleanliness, Make Surveys and rank them accordingly. Indore is India’s cleanest City under ‘Swachh Survekshan 2018’.

Once a Britisher asked Mahatma Gandhi, what will he do, if designated as a one-day Viceroy. His answer was, to clean the streets near Rajbhavan. ‘Clean India My Dream India’, ‘Swachh Bharat’ was Gandhiji’s Dream and as he said: “Be the change you want to see in the world!”
