“It’s not every day when a small-ticket film stays in theatres for as long as 48 days. @VivekAgnihotri directorial #TheTashkentFiles has done just that & it is all set to complete its golden jubilee in another two days” the financial paper ‘Money Control’ analyzed the success of Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Tashkent Files” .

Where the Life-time business of ‘Bahubali-2’ was 12.5 times of Day-1; ‘URI-the Surgical Strike’ was 30 times that of Day-1. “The Tashkent Files” scores high with a life-time business 50 times of Day one, with a BOC of 18crore.

#TheRightToTruth is in India’s DNA. Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial “The Tashkent Files” emerged as the “People’s Film” setting a benchmark with a 50-day run; that too without any marketing or promotions. Despite of extremely limited screening and release of multiple Hollywood and Bollywood biggies, this extremely intellectual film raked foot-falls with a “Word of Mouth!”
