Let’s LIVE on earth even after DEATH! Pledge to donate on this Organ Donation Day!

A single donor can save 8 lives by donating life-saving organs and heal 100 lives by donating tissue. Don’t burn or burry them. Pledge to donate on this Organ Donation Day and LIVE AFTER DEATH!

Which organs can be donated?

Kidney, Lungs, Heart, Eye, Liver, Pancreas, Cornea, Small Intestine, Skin tissues, Bone tissues, Heart valves and Veins

What are the criteria for a Donor?

Living Donor: Any person not less than 18 years of age, who voluntarily authorizes the removal of any of his organ and/or tissue, during his or her lifetime

Deceased Donor: Anyone, regardless of age, race or gender can become an organ and tissue donor after his or her Death (Brainstem/Cardiac). In case of deceased patients, Transplantation of Human Organs Act has been established with the rules to be followed for organ donation. Apart from the procedures laid down in the act, consent from family, coroner and legal authorities is obtained before starting the process.

Exceptions: Having a serious condition like actively spreading cancer, HIV, diabetes, kidney disease, or heart disease can prevent you from donating as a living donor.

How can you Pledge as an Organ Donor?

Fill a form available at the official website of National Organ and Tissue Transplantation Organization (NOTTO) a Government of India flagship, and pledge as a donor. ‘Donor Card’ with a unique registration ID will be generated, which acts as a will for donating the organs.
